So last night the t.v. was on, but i was tired and got in bed. Chris asked if i wanted it off and i said something to the effect of I'm not watching it. We soon realized we each thought the other turned it on when neither had! We have a polter-tv! It also came on this morning.
I wandered the town a bit while Chris slept in. Eventually we headed out for our climb of the tower of Phillip the Good, which was quite cool. Good history lesson, nice views.
After that we checked out the market and bought grapes and little sausages for the walk. Then we grabbed kebabs for lunch; the guy was very pleased Chris wanted her food spicy.
Next we hit the Owl Trail to see the sights. We got very good at following Owls frontwards and backwards! It was a nice way to wee the highlights. We did the main trail and 2 additional loops.
We also stopped for a kir, so we could decide whether to buy Creme Cassis. Yep it was good.
The time between walking and dinner was spent plotting tomorrows walk. The maps are teeny, but we mostly sorted it out. We are going to try to find a better map.
Dinner was a tough decision and i became cranky kitty when nothing was inspiring me. We ended up at a restaurant near the market which turned out yo be quite good. I had eggs in sauce, chicken, and creme brulet with lavender. Chris had escargots and what turned out to be skate wing. It wad all very good.
So tomorrow we set off on our walk. We are anticipating about 20 kilometers, or about 12-15 miles.
